Overhead Tube Radiography System

The ergonomic design for the MiiRAD OT+ is engineered to fulfill high volume demands for optimized handling providing all radiographic features. Together with an elevating table and a wall-stand all relevant radiographic procedures are available. Thanks to the 5-element telescopic arm, a very small focus-to-ceiling-distance can be achieved, enabling inexpensive installation in rooms with low ceiling heights.

Together with ACSS (Automatic Cassette Size Sensing) motorized vertical movement is available, leading to a system that can be handled at your fingertips. Minimal force is required for positioning by hand. The support can still be moved manually in the case of a power failure to release the patient.

Optimized Power

The generator can be controlled via several interfaces (Ethernet, Can, RS 422, Parallel). The integrated processor system provides excellent accuracy and reproducibility of the radiographic data by performing all control and regulating functions. A control console with touch panel operation is available. For DR application a Mini Console is available, which provides on /off and exposure release functionality. To optimize the service life of the tube, the required cooling interval is shown after each exposure.

Anatomical Programming

All radiographic parameters, e. g. the kV and mAs value, can be stored in the organ programs and selected at the touch of a button. The preset organ programs are easily modified by the user. For special cases, any of the technique parameters can be changed when the organ program is selected.

Elevating Versatility With Ease

The 4-way float elevating table is the foundation for the MiiRAD OT+ system, offering motorized height adjustment to position children, injured or handicapped patients with ease. The table brakes and height adjustment are controlled via a foot switch that can be programmed to the user’s needs during the installation process. For improved patient access a second optional kick switch can be mounted to the backside of the table. Patients up to 75 in (190 cm) in height and 617 lb (280 kg) in
weight can be examined from head to toe without re-positioning.

Fast, Simple, And Accessible

The wall-stand helps perform fast and simple routine X-ray exposures of a standing or sitting patient plus allows for optimal accessibility from left or right and easy ergonomic one-hand operation of the entire system. The counterbalance enables easy manual or motorized vertical movement.
